The day after we sailed from Mauritius the ship was full of activity for the 107th Sea Olympics. Each “Sea” or residence hall competed against each other in a myriad of events for glory and pride. The faculty and staff also formed a team aptly named the “prof-a-sea”. I competed in the tug of war as the anchor. We won our first match, but lost the second two. It was loads of fun and a good way to build community spirit.
