I went on a very long and action packed trip while I was in India. We covered a lot of ground and way too much happened to put in one blog post. We woke up early the first day jumped on a bus that took us to the airport where we flew to Delhi making a quick stop in Hyderabad. We got a quick bus tour of the city, saw a Sikh temple and a Hindu temple and then went to the hotel. We woke up the next morning at 4am to catch a train to Agra and got on a bus to see the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Then we got on the train back to Delhi where we spent the night. The next morning we got back on the bus to the airport and grabbed a flight to Varanasi and saw Sarnath, and the Stupas. The next morning we woke up at 4 am again to catch the sun rise over the river Ganges. We headed back to the hotel, packed up and grabbed two flights back to Chennai boarded a bus and got back to the ship that night. It was a whirlwind of movement without sleep but I got to see and do so much. What’s great is I still didn’t even come close to seeing all of India… guess I’ll just have to come back.
